What is your availability?
Appointments start at 10:00 AM or later, with some evening availability. I am accepting new patients for telehealth appointments in Florida and Massachusetts. Please inquire for current availability, as it varies.
I try to respond to messages on the day that I receive them, but my inboxes are not monitored 24/7, and they are not to be relied upon during crises or emergencies. If you feel you may be a danger to your self or others, call 911, 988 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are a patient, notify me after when you’re able to. Never delay emergency care by waiting to hear from me.
How do I make an appointment?
Complete this brief form and I will reach out to you for a 15-minute complimentary phone consultation. This is a low-pressure opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have, and for us to get an initial sense of whether I may be of help to you.
If we agree that an intake appointment makes sense, you will receive a link to set up a patient portal account and complete pre-appointment forms. I review these in advance so that we can best use our time together.
Do you accept health insurance?
I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (PPO, HMO, and Indemnity.)
If I am out-of-network with your insurance plan: You have the option to self-pay for services entirely, or, you may check to see if your insurance plan (e.g., PPO, POS plans) allows you to choose an out-of-network provider for partial reimbursement. In these cases, you pay for services in full, and I provide documentation that you can submit to your plan. I cannot guarantee reimbursement. If you receive it, they will likely send it to you directly. You would be responsible for coordinating this and understanding their requirements.

How much do sessions cost?
An intake evaluation (first appointment) is $350 and lasts between 60 and 90 minutes.
Subsequent therapy sessions are usually 50-minutes and $250. Longer or shorter sessions can be scheduled in advance if deemed clinically appropriate, and they are prorated. Sessions are usually weekly, but they can be scheduled on a more or less frequent basis (e.g., twice a week, every other week) when appropriate.
Payment is due at the time of service, including any co-pays. Valid credit or debit card(s) must be kept in the patient portal, which you can access 24/7. Major debit and credit cards are accepted, including HSA/FSA. We can make other payment arrangements when appropriate.
What presenting concerns do you treat?
I work with adults and young adults facing challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression or mood changes, difficult relationships, major life transitions, identity exploration, and other life stressors. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. A brief, complimentary consultation is required before scheduling a first appointment.
What might not be a good fit?
The following usually fall outside the current scope of my practice: active substance use disorders, eating disorders, OCD, phobias, high risk for suicide/serious self-harm, or people who require frequent contact with their provider between sessions.
Cancellation/No-Show Policy:
Please notify me of appointment conflicts at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the visit. If you have not arrived within 15-minutes and I have not heard from you, that is treated as a late cancellation. I will always try contacting you first.
Please note: Insurance will not reimburse in these situations, and HSA/FSA cards often cannot be used either. Therefore, you would be financially responsible for the entire fee of the scheduled service.

My training began at a group home and on-site classroom, helping young children navigate significant trauma.
My doctoral research project focused on understanding how mental health professionals approach diagnosis, with the hope of gaining insight into how the field can improve early recognition of bipolar and related disorders.
